1. Who We Are
Dream Job Navigator LLC ('DJN', 'we', 'us', or 'our') is a Wyoming limited liability company providing reverse-recruitment services. Job seekers ('Clients') engage us to manage their job search on a subscription or one-time basis. Our team applies for roles, contacts recruiters, and supports salary negotiations on behalf of Clients using a human-led, AI-assisted approach.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal and professional data:
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Identity & Contact: Full name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
- Professional Documents: Your CV/resume, cover letters, portfolio links, and LinkedIn profile URL or content.
- Job Preferences: Target roles, industries, preferred locations, salary expectations, and employment type.
- Work History: Current and previous employers, job titles, dates of employment, and key achievements.
- Education & Credentials: Educational background, certifications, and professional licences.
- Platform Access: Login credentials or authorised access to LinkedIn, Indeed, and other Authorized Platforms granted by the Client during the Onboarding Process, used solely to manage outreach, submit applications, and optimise profiles on the Client's behalf.
- Shared Email Account: Access credentials to the Shared Email Account (a Gmail account jointly created during onboarding and used exclusively for job applications and service communications). This account remains the Client's property at all times.
- Additional Information: Any other background information the Client chooses to share to help DJN represent them accurately.
2.2 Payment Information
All payments are processed exclusively by Stripe, Inc., our third-party payment provider. DJN does not collect, store, access, or process any payment card details, bank account information, or financial credentials. The only payment-related information DJN holds is transaction records (amount, date, subscription tier) for billing and invoicing purposes. Stripe's handling of payment data is governed by Stripe's own Privacy Policy and is compliant with PCI-DSS standards.
2.3 Information Generated Through Our Service
- Records of all job applications submitted on the Client's behalf, including employer name, role title, date applied, and application status.
- Communications sent and received via the Shared Email Account in connection with the Client's job search.
- Records of recruiter and hiring manager outreach conducted on the Client's behalf.
- Interview scheduling, preparation notes, and outcome records.

- Essential cookies strictly necessary for the website and client portal to function. We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data for the following purposes:
- Delivering Our Services: To submit job applications, contact recruiters and hiring managers, schedule interviews, support salary negotiations, and fulfil all tasks included in the Client's selected Service Plan.
- Platform & Account Management: To access and operate Authorized Platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.) and the Shared Email Account on the Client's behalf, strictly within the scope of the Services.

- Billing & Subscription Management: To manage subscriptions, issue invoices, and maintain transaction records. Subscriptions and payments are managed through a secure, Stripe-powered customer portal where Clients can view invoices, update their payment method, and cancel their subscription. Payment processing is handled exclusively by Stripe — DJN does not process card data directly.
- Marketing Communications: Where the Client has explicitly opted in, to send career tips, job market insights, and DJN service updates. See Section 6 for full details. This is always optional and opt-in only.
- Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests from authorities.
- Service Improvement: To improve internal processes and quality of delivery. Any analysis is conducted on anonymised or aggregated data where possible.
- Security & Fraud Prevention: To detect and prevent unauthorised access, fraud, or misuse of our platform.
4. Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only in the following circumstances and only to the extent necessary:
4.1 Employers, Recruiters & Hiring Managers
By engaging DJN, you expressly authorise us to share your professional profile, CV, cover letters, and contact details with prospective employers, recruiters, and hiring managers as part of our job search activities on your behalf. This is the core purpose of the service.
4.2 Job Boards & Professional Networks
We submit applications and profiles to job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other professional platforms on the Client's behalf. Data submitted to these platforms is subject to each platform's own privacy policy once transmitted.
4.3 Stripe — Payment Processing & Billing Portal
Payment processing and subscription management are handled exclusively by Stripe, Inc. When you complete a purchase, your payment card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure payment interface, and your subscription is managed through Stripe's hosted customer portal. DJN never sees, stores, or has access to your card number, bank details, or any other financial credentials. DJN receives only a transaction confirmation from Stripe (amount, date, and subscription type) for internal record-keeping. For information on how Stripe handles your payment data, please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy.
4.4 Other Service Providers & Subprocessors
We engage trusted third-party vendors to support service delivery, including CRM software, email providers, scheduling tools, and communication platforms. These vendors are contractually prohibited from using Client data for any purpose beyond providing services to DJN.
4.5 Legal & Regulatory Requirements
We may disclose your data if required by law, court order, or regulatory authority, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of DJN, our Clients, or the public.
4.6 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the successor entity. We will notify you before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
5. Data Retention
DJN retains personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. The following retention schedule applies:
5.1 During Active Subscription
All personal and professional data provided by or generated for the Client is held securely and actively used for service delivery throughout the subscription period.
5.2 After Subscription Ends
Upon cancellation or expiry of the Client's subscription, all personal data is immediately moved to an archived, read-only state. It is no longer actively used or processed, but is retained temporarily in case of dispute resolution or legal requirements.
5.3 Permanent Deletion — 12 Months Post-Subscription
All personal data — including CV, employment history, application records, outreach logs, interview notes, and profile information — is permanently and irreversibly deleted 12 months after the subscription end date. This applies to all Clients unless an exception below applies.
5.4 Exception — Marketing Opt-In
If the Client has explicitly opted into marketing communications (see Section 6), DJN retains only the Client's name and email address beyond the 12-month deletion window, for the sole purpose of sending marketing communications. All other personal data (CV, employment history, application records, etc.) is still deleted at 12 months regardless of marketing opt-in status. Marketing data is retained until the Client opts out, at which point name and email are also deleted.
5.5 Billing Records
Transaction records (amount, date, subscription tier) are retained for 7 years from the transaction date in compliance with legal and tax requirements. These records contain no payment card details.
5.6 Shared Email Account
The Shared Email Account created during onboarding remains in the Client's possession after service ends. DJN's access to the Shared Email Account is revoked within 3 business days of subscription termination. DJN does not retain copies of emails from the Shared Email Account beyond what is recorded in the Client's application and outreach logs.
5.7 Early Deletion Requests
Clients may request deletion of their personal data at any time by contacting contact@dreamjobnavigator.net. DJN will action deletion requests within 30 days. Note that certain data may be retained for longer if required by law or to resolve an active dispute.
6. Marketing Communications
DJN may send marketing communications — including career tips, job market insights, service updates, and promotional content — only to Clients who have explicitly opted in. Marketing communications are never sent without prior consent.
6.1 How We Collect Opt-In Consent
Consent is collected at two points in the Client journey:
- At Sign-Up (Checkout): A clearly labelled, unticked checkbox is presented at checkout, separate from the Terms of Use acceptance. Clients who tick this box consent to receiving marketing communications. The timestamp and consent status are recorded alongside the Client's agreement to the Terms.
- At Cancellation (Offboarding): When a Client cancels their subscription, DJN sends a follow-up email asking whether they would like to remain on the DJN mailing list. Consent here is voluntary and requires an active confirmation.
6.2 What We Send
- Job search tips and career development insights.
- Updates on DJN services, new features, or plan changes.
- Industry news and hiring market updates relevant to the Client's field.
- Occasional promotional offers or referral programmes.
6.3 Data Used for Marketing
DJN uses only the Client's name and email address for marketing purposes. No other personal data (CV, employment history, application records, etc.) is used for or retained solely for marketing. This data is held until the Client opts out.
6.4 How to Opt Out
- Clicking the unsubscribe link included in every marketing email.
- Sending a written opt-out request to contact@dreamjobnavigator.net.
Opt-out requests are processed within 5 business days. Opting out does not affect the delivery of service-related communications (e.g., application updates, interview notifications), which are sent regardless of marketing consent status.
7. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, destruction, or alteration. These measures include, but are not limited to:
- Encrypted data transmission (TLS/HTTPS) for all client communications.
- Restricted internal access — only personnel who require data to perform their role may access it.
- Secure, password-protected storage for all client files and credentials.
- No storage of payment card data — all payment processing is delegated to Stripe, a PCI-DSS-compliant payment processor.
Despite our best efforts, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. Clients are encouraged to contact us immediately if they suspect any unauthorised access to their data.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure — Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Restriction — Request that we restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.
- Portability — Request transfer of your data in a structured, machine-readable format (where technically feasible).
- Objection — Object to processing of your data for direct marketing purposes.
- Withdraw Marketing Consent — Opt out of marketing communications at any time without affecting your service. See Section 6.4 for instructions.
- Withdraw Service Consent — You may terminate your subscription at any time in accordance with the Terms of Use. Note that withdrawal does not waive any fees already due.
To exercise any of the above rights, please contact us at contact@dreamjobnavigator.net. We will respond within 30 days. We may require verification of your identity before processing your request.
